Food sovereignty is one of the priorities of development dimensions which is be a part of Nawa Cita vision. To realize such priority targets, in 2016 Government allocate sovereignty of food through by K/L spending (the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Public Works and People Housing and the Ministry of Marine and Fishery), non K/L spending (supply food and seed subsidy, and miscellaneous spending for Government rice reserve), and allocation of transfer to regions (DAK mechanism for irrigation sector and DAK for agriculture)
